We are here to provide you with a safe, fun and enriching environment that cherishes, supports and nourishes your children/grand children or teen on their spiritual journey while you are inspired and encouraged by our Sunday Church Service in the Sanctuary.
We are so grateful that we have such an experienced and nurturing team in our Youth and Family Ministry.
We have years of experience especially working with children and teens where their grandparents are their guardians or their guides for their spiritual development.
We can also offer support such grandparents and guardians as to how to continue this during the week that follows, much as we do for younger families that join us.
We are uniquely blessed to have all our teachers and volunteers certified and trained as teachers or as teaching aides as well as experienced as spiritual guides in Unity and New Thought teachings.
Both Nancy Sogliuzzo and Bernadete Leal are proud recipients of the Unity Distinguished Youth Services Award for service to youth in our church and our region for more than 7 years.
For those families and volunteers who have moved away we wish them only the best in their journeys.
Playing and Praying Together
We welcome babies, toddlers, children and teens as they join us for this time to connect and share together. Focusing on centering times for play and prayer together helps us create a strong basis for learning and loving together!
We are so grateful for this opportunity to discover together with the children and families who are joining us. We are well versed in supporting grandparents who are bring their grandchildren with them to church to ensure their spiritual enrichment.
We are so thankful for the trained and experienced teachers and needed resources in place that we are poised and ready to move forward in a new year. Our lessons are focused on the basics using lessons from the wonderful Unity curriculum the Teachings of Jesus for Children and the Teaching of Jesus for Teens.
What We Believe:
Unity's 5 Basic Principles
1. God is all good and active in everything, everywhere.
2. I am naturally good because God's Divinity is in me and in everyone.
3. I create my experiences by what I choose to think and what I feel and believe.
4. Through affirmative prayer and meditation, I connect with God and bring out the good in my life.
5. I do and give my best by living the Truth I know. I make a difference!
Who we are:
As a spiritual community, we provide a safe place of love and acceptance where our children and teens experience and discover their oneness of God and with each other.
Our purpose is to create programs and experiences that invite the Divine potential in each individual to grow and expand. Using the tools of affirmative prayer, Unity's Living Curriculum, meditation and service, bible and classic children's stories, games, and creative expression, we practice Unity Truth principles as a way of life. We are Love in action within our church and in social action in our community.
