Change in Our World

Dear Church Family,

There is a whirlwind of change in our world. Day by day, moment by moment the "news" changes of what is recommended, required, and anticipated for CV-19. We respond in ways that are natural to change; denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. Suddenly, the daily life processes we valued and took for granted are being radically altered.

It's easy to get caught up in the whirlwind. The human reaction is caution, panic and survival. I am a hunter by nature, and found myself at the grocery store twice this week getting extra canned goods and foods to freeze. My Grandma, whose family was poor before the Great Depression, instilled in me to always have a full pantry. I released that idea several years ago. However, as I prayed I see the value in having a full pantry right now - to share with others as needs arise. And having food on hand conserves my energy to reach out to others.

Beyond the changes in our routines and encounters with each other in the physical realm, we know that God is present in everything. God is present in our physical hugs, virtual hugs or telepathic hugs. We believe that God is all Good. So Good is present everywhere and in all forms of our interactions and modes of hugs.

It has been a very full week for me and our staff. We are preparing to reimagine our ministry from the a physical place where we all meet, share love and hugs, sing and worship together to a resource where we digitally meet (all together or as needed), virtually and telepathically share love and hugs and allow Spirit to flow between us from the comfort of our home.

We care about you. We are reaching in to each of you through weekly phone calls. If you aren't on our call list and want to be - Contact us. We are reaching out through our newsletter and providing services, messages and support through YouTube, Facebook and our web site. We are redesigning our newsletter to provide you with updated ministry information and spiritual support and resources to enhance your daily communion with God.

We affirm that God's love, strength, power, prosperity and peace fills your life with focused thoughts and actions. In a time that appears uncertain to the world, allow your certainty to be centered in Truth and access the Truth through denials of the any power of appearances. Follow that with affirmations of God's Truth. For example, "I deny the appearance of lack or limitation. I affirm God's presence and power that exists in all things."   Emilie Cady wrote in Lessons in Truth, "There is nothing in the universe for me to fear, for greater is He that is within me than he that is in the world."

You have the power to respond through action or reaction. Action is a choice that can be constructive and affirmative. Reaction is usually fear based. You have the power and control of where, ways and how much information you choose to receive. Likewise you have the same power and control of how you participate in allowing God's Good to unfold in your life.   In other words, you have power and control of how you respond to the information.

I affirm the God's Good unfolding in your life, in our ministry and globally. I give thanks for each of you.   On behalf of myself, Patricia Santos, Judy Godde, Linda Burdett, our volunteers making calls and our Board of Trustees know that we care about you and send you our love.

Many blessings,
Pastor Robert
