Our own Unity of El Cajon Video Ministry, in cooperation with the Santa Sophia Youth ministry and supported by CoAction Media Solutions, are producing their first movie titled “Sola fide (By faith alone)”. There were hardships and challenges that preceded the blessed birth of the Christ that we celebrate at Christmas. An adaptation of “When Mary tells Joseph: A play based on Matthew 1:18–19” by Robin Gallaher Branch” , this movie, of about 30 minutes, provides a thought provoking look at the strength and faith in God that Mary and Joseph must have had as Mary must tell her fiance, Joseph, she is with child and he will raise the son of God, Jesus the Christ.
This film is acted and produced by the youth of our community. They are excited to bring this to you in the Unity of El Cajon Church sanctuary, after services on December 19th, as an exclusive premiere. The film will start at 12pm, after our regular 10am service. Plan to extend your time of fellowship, support our youth and enjoying some free entertainment that may lead to deeper thought about the lives of those who took on an incredible task by faith alone.
